Salary: €40,000 – €50,000 (depending on experience)
Role Summary
- Own and elevate the quality, reliability, and scalability of software products
- Define testing strategies and build robust automation frameworks
- Embed quality across the full software development lifecycle
- Work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams in a cloud-native SaaS environment
Key Responsibilities
- Define, plan, and execute comprehensive test strategies for new and existing features
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure strong test coverage
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Perform manual exploratory testing for complex workflows and edge cases
- Conduct API, UI, performance, and security testing using modern tools and frameworks
- Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects and quality risks through to resolution
- Continuously improve QA processes, tooling, and automation practices
- Produce and communicate quality metrics such as test coverage, defect trends, and automation rates
- Stay up to date with QA best practices, tools, and emerging testing approaches
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a Quality Assurance or Software Testing role
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
- Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman or RestAssured
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across distributed teams
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
- Experience testing cloud-native and SaaS applications
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of security testing tools and practices
- Experience working in compliance-driven environments such as ISO, SOC2, or GDPR
- Exposure to AI or ML-based application testing or model validation
